Day 5 July 4 ~ Best alburgue yet.

Obanos to Villatuerta, 12.3 miles, 8 hours.

All along the way we have been "leap frogging" groups and individuals of different nationalities. Doug and I decided to keep track and wanted to share with you!

Unfortunately we don't speak any of these languages. Doug even confuses people when he speaks English.

Spain, France, Germany Italy Denmark Japan Korea America El Salvador Netherlands Finland Austria madagascar Nova Scotia Ireland England Switzerland Belgium. The picture below was a huge field that had tires laid out as a world map.

PS- editing nationalities as we meet people: Australia Canada, Russian and 3 more Americans, Zambia, Hungary, iceland. Scotland, Brazil.

The nicest man and lady owned and ran the hostel we stayed in Villatuerta, even down to the hair dryer in the bathroom. They made paella for dinner, we had a nice evening eating outside in the courtyard. I wish I had taken advantage of the hammocks that were out there!

Serenaded to sleep by a Spanish band!
