Santo Domingo to Belorado, 14.2 miles, 8 hours.
We hobbled along through the wheat fields each time we came to a dirt road with rocks we would groan and take a deep breath and push forward. The inserts are helping but we think we have bruised bones.
We started to parallel a major highway (N 120). Wicked fast trucks and cars. Pretty scary even though our path was separated by guard rails.
We stayed at a small albergue That had a pool, though it had cooled down and we decided not to swim. Took a nap instead, siestas have become a way of life on the camino. Had another great dinner to end the day. Buenos noches.
Beautiful images! I would love to see them in person. So sorry your feet are hurting so much! I can only imagine! Love you two!
