This was a quick day. We thought that we would get up early to spend LOTs of time with Ryan before he went to work at 4 pm, but with the time change and Ryan working til midnight we didn't get out of the house until noon. Had a lunch of collard greens and Carolina pulled pork and then went for a walk at Guilford courthouse national monument park. A revolutionary battle was fought there in 1781. Fascinating history! Came home took a nap (darn time change) Ryan went to work and then Julia showed us downtown Greensboro. We saw the Woolworths where the sit in protests about segregation happened in 1960 and where the maker of Vicks vapor rub had a pharmacy. We are having a great time!
